What we're here to do

Practical support, rooted in community.

Our focus is simple: back useful local activity, remove barriers, and help communities respond to the challenges people face every day.

01

Reduce hardship

Support people facing financial pressure and help make essentials, practical help and local support easier to access.

02

Build community

Create stronger connections between neighbours, volunteers, community groups and local organisations.

03

Improve wellbeing

Support healthier lives through access to food, learning, skills, participation and projects that improve the local environment.

Our purpose

A broad charitable purpose with a local focus.

Community resilience

Helping communities organise, adapt and support one another.

Education & skills

Creating opportunities for people to learn, develop confidence and build useful skills.

Environment

Supporting sustainable local action, including reducing waste and making better use of resources.

Our first major project

Toddington Community Fridge

A community-led food redistribution project that rescues good food from going to waste and makes it available to local people. It is open to everyone and built around dignity, sustainability and community participation.
